BRS sells a complete range of bitumen, bitumen emulsions and bitumen cutbacks. We have good relationships with refineries, oil companies and suppliers in order to provide a high standard of service and quality products.
BRS manufactures a full range of Medium and Rapid Cure (denoted by MC and RC prefixes) bitumen cutbacks for the construction industry and waterproofing industry.

These are penetration grades blended with a volatile diluent which evaporates when applied. They are classified according to their viscosity and are designated by the prefixes RC or MC (denoting the rate of curing, i.e. RC for rapid curing and MC for medium curing) and the lower limit of the viscosity range at 60°C in cSt. The higher limit of the viscosity range is twice that of the lower limit. These grades are mostly used for road
construction and paving.
These grades are straight run bitumen classified according to their hardness and are designated by their penetration limits at 25°C in tenths of a mm, with the exception of grade 65/13 (designated by the mid-values of the softening point and the penetration respectively). The grades with penetrations greater than 40 are mostly used in road construction and occasionally in industrial applications. The grades with penetrations less than 40 are used primarily in industrial applications.
These grades have a high temperature softening point and a low ductility and are obtained by blowing air through straight run bitumen. They are designated by the prefix R and their mid-values of the softening point in °C and the penetration limits at 25°C in tenths of a mm, respectively. These grades are used in industrial applications.
Bitumen emulsion is a versatile material that can be used in a wide range of applications for road construction and maintenance. These applications are recognized as being cost effective, consume less energy and have lower impact on the environment. Our wide range of emulsifiers enables our clients to fully utilize the advantages of these applications.
